This time of the year for me, like most photographers is what I call “downtime”. Right after the major holidays and before spring and wedding season starts up is normally a great time for me to shoot some more personal stuff. And lately, I tend to do that with my iPhone.

As newborns tend to do, little man got a little fussy last time and we eventually ran out of light. So we shot some more today.

Mona has been on my radar for almost 2 years now. It all started with a wedding. And in that wedding was the bassist for Mona, Zac - who had previously been in a band with the groom, Neal (who just had a baby named Gabe) called The Secret who eventually changed their name to Vonguard.

Anywho. They finally played Bowling Green on the eve of my birthday and it was pretty amazing. Look for their album should be out in the states next month. It’s good. Really good.
